This Lego-themed action-adventure video game is a direct sequel to 2014's The Lego Movie Videogame and like the original the objective is to create various structures in order to access new levels. The game also includes scenes from the film to indicate the separation between levels and/or missions. In Lego Movie 2 you will be able to journey into outer space, discover new worlds.

Like the actual movie the Lego Movie 2 Videogame tells the story of how the alien monster invaders have left Bricksburg in ruins and it is now up to Emmet and a host of heroic lego characters to go beyond their world and save their friends from the strange inhabitants of the Systar System.

How to Enter Cheats

We love the LEGO games as they are packed with cheat codes! In this version of the game there are codes which will help you unlock various relic pieces which will help you get access to characters, special items, vehicles and more.

The following codes can be used by going to the pause menu, then entering the corresponding six digit code. You-ll then find your chosen relic in the nearest shop

Unlocking Characters

In The Lego Movie 2 Videogame the process of unlocking characters involves completing campaign missions, bonus missions, side missions, or finding the character's hidden token card in the game levels or overworld map. Characters can only be unlocked in Freeplay mode (this feature does not work in Story mode). You can only buy a character that you have already unlocked, by holding the Triangle button on PS4, holding the Y button on Xbox One or by holding the X button on Switch, to bring up the 'Character' menu. At the 'Character' menu select the black silhouette of the character you want from the grid and select 'Buy' to make it available for you to play with in Free Play mode.

Switch Characters

This can only be done while you are in Free Play mode (not available in Story mode). Hold the Triangle button on PS4, hold the Y button on Xbox One, or hold the X button on Switch to bring up the 'Character' menu.
