Introduction

The Legendary Starfy offers many features one can enjoy at the fullest and allows further game play. Things would include a wardrobe you can obtain for Starfy, collecting toys, secret levels, and a lot more. An issue I had wit the game is the fact tat it is indeed too short. Even with all the bonuses, the game is too small the collecting things from levels over and over again can be very annoying. Another issue I had was the fact that levels were all too much alike. There should have been more distinction in the levels, each one should have thrown a surprising twist at you, but they didn't. But hey, now on to the positives!

Graphics

For being the the Nintendo DS, the graphics are amazing on screen. Not to mention the cuteness is off the charts as Starfy moves about. I mean they're nothing big, but shouldn't be looked down upon either. The game designers did a wonderful job in making the graphics simple, but sweet.

Sound

I must say, the music is nothing to get too excited about. Again, it all sounds very similar and it's not too great either. The sound effects are a lot better though, considering that they keep the game cute, no matter the situation I have to admit, I found myself going, "Aww!" at some of the phrases that were used throughout the course of the game. So overall, music was decent.

Gameplay

The story is simple, adorable, and short. Though I wish it were longer, it really was good. There was no dramatic death, but the game did a good job conveying the story in the game's chapters. Also, if tis truly is your type of game, you will fall in love with the characters and their expression/reactions. This game is labeled cute and you'll have no trouble in figuring out why.

Lastability

The lastibility is okay I suppose. The game is very addicting when you first play it, but afterward when it's all beat, you won't look at it for a while. Maybe after a few years, you'll want to beat it again, but as I said before, it does get boring. The lastibility isn't the greatest, but it's not the worst either.

Overall

This review may sound like the game is pretty bad, but it really isn't. I recommend this game to girls, considering it's cute, but there is no shame in guys playing it either. The game is fun, and has a great story with lovable characters, so don't let minor flaws take away your interest in playing it. Starfy is a great character, and I do recommend you play the game. That's why even with the many minor flaws, I'm glad it was released across seas.
