What is the Best Strategy?

This game is very simple, when you see the actual floor of the room it is safe to run on but if you are still on it when it changes to lava it will burn you. The best strategy to use is to run for the next object and get on top of it the instant the floor is exposed.

When Should I Jump?

It is very important that you master the timing for when you have to jump over an object because when you reach around 30 points in a run things will start to get trickier because objects will start appearing closer together and force you to jump sooner.

Should I Collect the Hearts?

The hearts are scattered throughout the game and they are wothwhile collecting if you are able to do so without risking your run as they extend your life. Don't bother collecting a heart though if you are in danger of dying anyway as it defeats the purpose of getting an extra hit point.

How Often does the Floor Change to Lava?

As you progress through the game everytime the floor turns to lava the pace speeds up.
