The Cruel King and the Great Hero is a role-playing game that tells the story of a young girl named Yuu and the dragon that acts as her foster parent. In the game, the world was ruled by the dragon overlord, and it was defeated by the hero. But instead of killing the dragon, the hero decided just to cut off its horns as this is where its power came from, and the two became friends. One day, the hero returns to the dragon with his daughter and asks the dragon to raise his child. The Dragon king raises the girl and tells her tales of her birth father's many adventures. After hearing these tales she decides she wants to become a hero herself...

Save Often

Although The Cruel King and the Great Hero autosaves in-between sections of the map it is still recommended that you get in the habit of manually saving the game as you never know when a glitch may occur and freeze the game, resulting in a loss of progress.
