With more mini-games, this game is even better than the last.10/10 so far.

The whole replay thing, with you being able to see your acclomplishments..... And your cool down falls. I love it! Still10/10!

Now.. For the.... bad side. Arthropod. 8 bracelets. Things like this really take the fun out of the game. 8/10 now.The cutscenes actually really do explain themselves...... COME ON SEGA!!! 4/10.

Overall score: 8/10------ Excellent!

This game is amazing, I am not that big a gamecube fan but I love this game.

It is entertaining and very fun to play.

It has the extra games such as, Monkey soccer and these games are amazing.

I highly recommend this game because it has good game play and very fun. I give this game 8/10.

I hate monkeys. They are the only creatures on earth (apart from me and Ronald Mcdonald) smarter than man-although no-one knows but the leaders of Fort Ape...and the creators of monkey ball 2.

They pretend that the monkeys are stupid, so normals like you aren't scared. The 1st player game is just as you expect-terrible. The cut-scenes are very poor, the story even worse (Come on, you Japanese can do sooooo much better-look at Final Fantasy X) and some of the later levels are illogically hard. Another bad thing is that for a quarter of the levels, all you have to do to win is press and hold 'up' on the controller.

The mini-games, however, raise the score of this game considerably. They vary from the abysmal mokey boat to the cool monkey shot. Monkey target isn't as good as it was in SMB 1, however. The mini games should last you a few days if you play them alone, but several weeks if you play with your mates.

It is the best party game on the Gamecube, but if you really want a brilliant party game, check the EyeToy on the PS2.

It is the same price as SMB 2, and has more laughs, more appeal, and most importantly-less monkeys.
Graphics: Smooth, but far from inspiring. 70%
Sound: Chirpy music, extremely annoying monkey voices 58%
Gameplay: A good variety of gaming types 76%
Lifespan: If you put up with it, it'll last quite a while 75%
Overall: Falls short of a 'B' rank because of its poor main game. Good party fun, however. 69%
