How do you use the sneaker jetpack power up when you buy it from the power up store?

The Jetpack and Super Sneakers in the game store are just for upgrades - you can't actually buy them to use in the game. You instead have to find these randomly on each run.
Then, if you upgrade them in the Shop, they last longer. You can't, unfortunately, buy them for future use whenever you like.
