Introduction

Another game in the Star Wars series. In this game, to swing the lightsaber, you only have to flick your writs left, right, up, or down. You can also push the wiimote forward to stab at your opponent. This game isn't as fun as it sounds, and I don't recommend getting it. Read the rest of the review to find out why. This is all just my opinion, be sure to check out other reviews for this game.

Graphics

The graphics more or less look like the animated movie that this game is based on. They could be way better, but they are okay. The background looks pretty good, the droids and clones standing in the background look pretty good. The main characters look good. That's all I have to say.

Sound

The background music is great. The menu music is great. The sound effects suck. They weren't synced with actions, the lightsaber sounds came out of the speakers in the wiimote and basically sounded just like static. I find this game more enjoyable if I have it on mute.

Gameplay

The gameplay is just boring.
You can play single player and multiplayer. Both are completely boring.

Multiplayer you have two modes:
Free Play-both of you pick your characters and constantly fight over and over in the same area. You keep killing eachother and after every kill it does an annoying movie. You do this until you quit the game.
Quick Play-both of you pick a character and go two rounds. After each kill there's a movie just like before.

Single Player has four difficulties. Youngling, Padawan, Jedi Knight, and Grand Master. After you pick the difficulty, you pick the mode you want to play.
The modes are:
Campaign-you fight different enemies and play as different characters. Each time it's exactly the same, just different people and a different background. You can beat this in a day easily. Gets really boring easily.
Challenge-you must do special requirements. You do the same thing as the other modes, except you must have specific things unlocked.
Free Play-same as the multiplayer version, except you have a computer opponent.
Quick Play-same as the multiplayer version, except you have a computer opponent.

All of the modes are annoying because you are constantly brought to a cutscene and you are constantly brought into mini-cutscenes.

Lastability

This game gets boring before you've played it for a day.
You can beat the campaign mode in less then an hour.
Every single game mode is exactly the same, just a different map or different characters.
When you swing the wiimote, the lightsaber on the game isn't responsive quick enough and you get hit before you get a chance to hit them.
There are too many cut-scenes, which spoils whatever little fun you may be having.
No WIFI, even though that wouldn't have made much of a difference.

Overall

Just don't get this game. The graphics and the sound are okay. But as for actual gameplay, it just sucks. Too many cutscenes, the modes are exactly the same. The difficulties aren't that much harder as you go up. The hardest one can still have the campaign mode beat in less then two hours. This game isn't worth the money.

I really hope this review helped let you know that this game is not worth the money, and wouldn't be worth the money if it was $5. Just leave it and get some other Star Wars game. Star Wars The Force Unleashed is a good choice.
