Spiritwish Walkthrough and Guide

Spiritwish is a third-person action 'retro' MMORPG that is a stand-alone game with no tie-ups with any franchise. In Spiritwish you command a three-character party as they follow in the footsteps of the Three Gods for control of the ancient relics that protect their land of Kaleva against a looming evil. This will involve online co-op raiding and daily dungeons and embarking on missions you can complete to win rewards and level up your characters. Check out our Spiritwish Walkthrough and Guide to get help in the game.

Don't Reroll

It is not worth the time and effort to keep re-rolling until you get the pulls that you are aiming for. You will begin Spiritwish with a choice between two teams of three classes. You will find that the only difference between those two teams is that one has a fighter and the other one has a sentinel. Both teams will have an Archer and a Cleric. You also have the option to create a fourth character straight away which you can swap into your team if you are not happy with your initial selection.

Pull for Gear

Don't waste your free diamonds on the character class gacha, use them instead to pull for gear. The likelihood is you will just get card pieces and not full cards if you use your free diamonds on the character class gacha. You need to collect 80 or more pieces to get the full card which means it is easier to get the full cards by playing the game until you unlock the classes through other means.

Put Together a Balanced Team

Make sure you are familiar with the roles the different classes have in Spiritwish and then focus on unlocking the ones that will give you a balanced team. If you decide you want to have two DPS (a character that can deal a significant amount of damage within one second) in your team it is important that you think how you will balance it, one way would be to have a Cleric that has Benediction maxed out in order to give your team added DEF. A good team will typically have a Tank, Support, and DPS.

Upgrade Skills

Upgrade your characters skills whenever possible as doing so will make them stronger and faster which will enable you to quest for the classses you actually want. To upgrade the skills of a character requires Skill Books, the higher the level of the skill the more Skill Books you will need to upgrade further. The higher Tier skills cannot be unlocked until you reach the required level. Tiers in Spiritwish are unlocked every 10 levels.

Invest in Passive Skills

Aside from their active skills the characters in your party can also have passive skills called Techniques. These passive skills are divided into Tiers which are unlocked every 10 levels. Techniques differ from your characters active skills in that they do not require Skill Books to learn and level up. Instead they require you to invest a large amount of gold and since you have multiple characters and only limited resources when you begin Spiritwish you need to choose carefully which Techniques to invest in.

Adjust your Tactics

Spiritwish has a Tactics system which tells the party of three characters you control when to use their items and skills. This Tactics system is set by default to cast skills as often as possible which means it is important that you make sure you adjust the parameters of every new skill and consumable you equip to help prevent wasting resources.

Follow the Adventurer's Journey Quests

It is important that you follow the Adventurer's Journey Quests as these tasks have been designed to help you get acquainted with the different features in the game and will serve as your progress guide, giving you specific targets to aim for in order to stay on track. The Adventurer's Journey Quests can be accessed by tapping the Rewards icon at the top of your screen.

Build Up your Achievement Score

Progress in Spiritwish is measured according to your Achievement Score. You can view see your current Achievement score by tapping on the icon with four squares that is at the top-right of the screen and then going to Achievements. Here you will also see a list of different Achievements you can accomplish within the game. The order in which you can attempt them does not matter, what is important is that you get the points so you can unlock additional features in the game. A red dot on the Achievements icon signifies rewards and points you can claim for your score.

Invest in your Starting Classes

In Spiritwish it is beneficial to spend resources on your initial classes rather than saving up for the classes you actually like. Neglecting to use your resources early in the game on skill upgrades and making enhancements to make your characters stronger will hinder your progress. You will easily be able to farm Enhancement Scolls, Skill Books and Refining Stones during the game so do not be afraid to spend them.
