Soul Hackers 2 is a supernatural RPG set under the neon lights of a cyberpunk Japan. The plot follows Ringo and Figue, manifested agents of the artificial intelligence Aion, as they seek and recruit people from rival groups of Devil Summoners who are key to preventing an approaching apocalypse.
Soul Hackers 2 Cheats, Tips Strategy
Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you should put together a balanced party and why you should use Demon Recon.
- Have a Balanced Party
Each member of your party of four will have one demon equipped at a time. The enemy you will encounter has a range of different elemental strengths and weaknesses, so the best strategy is to ensure that you try and cover as many bases as possible by having each member of the party focus on a different element and have a Mistique and demon equipped that strengthens the chosen element.
To begin with you will not have enough party members to dedicate to each element, but eventually you will unlock the ability to change demons mid-battle. It is also recommended that one of your party members is a dedicated healer at all times.
- Speak to Demons
Demon Recon is a mechanic in Soul Hackers 2 that gives you the opportunity to speak to any demons you have in your possession that appear around the map. Take advantage of Demon Recon to get money, rare items, and have your HP or MP replenished. There is also the possibility that you can use Demon Recon to recruit new demons.
Keep an eye on the symbols above your demon's head as they indicate what kind of conversation and benefit you will have with them. Keep in mind that there are some requests where the item can only be collected by using Demon Recon.
- Complete Requests And Aion Directives
Requests and Aion Dircectives in Soul Hackers 2 are optional side quests which are worthwhile completing when they become available as they enable you to earn a range of items and money. Also, completing specific requests will unlock additional stock in stores, give you discounts, and unlock brand new-new fusion options.
You will be notified when new requests come into Club Cretaceous, but in order to check on new directives you will have to visit the Soul Matrix. Keep in mind that there are some requests that can be found in dungeons or in city areas.
- Fuse Everything
Fusions play a big part in Soul Hackers 2 as they enable you to get stronger demons. Keep in mind that there are many powerful demons in the game who are only accessible through fusion, while others that can normally be found are much stronger when they are the result of fusion.
Each demon in Soul Hackers 2 has a set of skills that they learn as they level up. If the leveled-up demon is the result of fusion they will carry over skills from the previous demon giving them a wider range of elemental attacks.
- Explore the Soul Matrix
Take the time to explore the Soul Matrix as it offers perks to Ringo and the other party members. Defeating the bosses you encounter within the Soul Matrix will also allow you to later fuse them and use them yourself. You will also be able to do the Ion Objectives side quests to get resources. Keep in mind that finishing each character's Soul Matrix is also required to access the true ending of the game.
