Sonic Frontiers Cheats, Tips Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you should complete the challenges and how to activate the Ring Dash.

• Complete the Challenges

  The red question marks that you see on the world map indicate small challenges that you can complete. These challenges are not compulsory, but you should make a point of completing them as they open up new locations on the map which will have more collectibles and challenges marked on them.

  The challenges themselves are not difficult, they are basically mini-games that involve racing to the finish line, hitting some circles, or pressing a few buttons. Also, when you complete all the challenges on an island you also unlock the ability to fast travel between different Cyberspace Portals.

• Spawn Rings

  Rings are what keeps Sonic alive in every Sonic game, and you can easily pick them up in Sonic Frontiers as you progress through the maps of the Starfall Islands. However, Sonic can just as easily lose all the Rings in an instant by being hit.

  If this happens while Sonic is engaged in a fight and there are no Rings lying about nearby he can pick up you can easily spawn Rings by performing a Cyloop attack on the ground.

• Fast Way to Gather Collectibles

  In Sonic Frontiers there are other items aside from Rings which you can collect. These include The Blue Seeds of Defense, The Red Seeds of Power, Lost Koco, Vault Keys, and Memory Tokens. All these items can be found by simply roaming around the map, there is however a faster way to retrieve them which will cut down a lot of grinding.

  In order to do this though you must first gather Purple Coins on the map and then find a portal that takes you to Big the Cat and his fishing challenge. Once there you simply fish around and pick up green and golden tickets as rewards which you can then exchange for the previously mentioned collectibles.

• Activate the Ring Dash

  The Ring Dash is an ability Sonic has that enables him to retrieve Rings quicker. Sonic has this ability from the beginning of the game, but it is not explained to you how to activate it.

  All you need to do to perform a Ring Dash is press the left analog stick of your controller when you are near Rings and Sonic will perform the dash. Take advantage of this maneuver to quickly complete lots of the challenges.
