How do I get gilded ginger and can I grow it?

The gilded ginger grows in the glass dessert. Two spawn a day in two of the 71 spawn locations. You are unable to put them in a farm plot without mods. They are needed to get a gold Gordo and are the only thing you can feed it. It takes three gilded gingers to pop a gold Gordo and you also need one to put on the Gordo snare.
Gilded Ginger is rare, exclusively found in the Glass desert. It cannot be grown, only foraged.
No you cannot grow guilded ginger sadly the replicator will deny it
