Although the Lab expansion has a high price tag it is a worthwhile investment because of the usefulness of the slime science gadgets it has to offer.
If you are still looking for help with this game we have more questions and answers for you to check.
The Lab, though costing 10,000 newbucks, is very worthwhile.
It is necessary for fabricating any slime science gadgets, which can range from teleporters to drones that help you on your ranch to decorations to slime ball hoops.
If you want to unlock the Pro Style achievement for unlocking the entire Slimepedia, it is necessary to get the lab. This is because you have to use pumps, drills, and apiaries in different locations to get slime science resources.
The Lab expansion also comes with more plots, meaning more profit!
Some other gadgets that you can fabricate in the lab are gordo snares (which attract you your own personal gordo) apiaries, pumps, and drills (which give you slime science resources necessary for fabricating countless other gadgets) teleporters, warp depots (used for transporting objects from one location to another, echo nets (used in the ancient ruins to attract echoes) and many more!
Overall, though the lab is expensive, it is likely to give you infinitely more profit once you purchase it.
Though the Lab expansion is worht 10,000 newbucks, it is worth the price tag.
It is necessary for completing the Pro Style achievement (unlocking everything in the Slimepedia) because you cannot otherwise get Slime Science resources.
It is also necessary for purchasing the treasure crackers because the upgrade for each treasure cracker is only available after fabricating a certain amount of slime science gadgets. (Treasure crackers allow you to open the treasure pods that you will find around the Far Far Range.
You can also fabricate drones, which, when powered off of water, will complete tasks for you around your ranch, such as collecting plorts and feeding your slimes.
You can also fabricate teleporters and warp depots at the lab, which will respectively teleport you, or a stack of items from one location to another.
You can also fabricate countless decorations that you can find in Treasure Pods and Curios, which mostly do not serve a purpose except for your enjoyment. An example of a Curio is the Slimeball Hoop, which, when you start the game, will set a timer. The goal is to get as many slime through the hoop as you can before the time runs out! (Like Basketball) This is also necessary for the She's on Fire acheivement, which requires scoring at least 50 points in a single game of slimeball.
The Lab also comes with 5 more plots, which means more corrals, gardens, chicken coops, silos, ponds, or incinerators, which means more profit!
So, though the Lab may seem too expensive to be worth it, pthe expansion can also bring infinitely more profit too you and your ranch.
