Silent Hope Cheats and Tips

We have a collection of cheats and tips for Silent Hope, an action role-playing game that takes place in a once-peaceful land, silenced by the former King who stole people's speech before escaping into the endless chasm known as The Abyss.

Silent Hope Cheats and Tips

Seven heroes with unique play styles are guided by the princess on a journey to The Abyss, the lost King's final destination. Silent Hope is available on Nintendo Switch and PC.

Silent Hope Cheats and Tips

The cheats and tips below will help you when you delve into the depths of the Abyss in search of the king.

  • Get Challenges from the Princess

Make sure whenever you you are back on the surface at Base Camp you go and see the Princess in her teardrop crystal. Aside from decoding the purple, question mark memories you collect as rewards for challenges within the Abyss she will also give you challenge missions that add an extra layer to your exploration of the Abyss.

There are two categories of Challenges the Princess gives you, these are Abyss challenges that focus on combat and story progression and base camp challenges that involve cooking or creating certain ingredients. Whenever you complete her tasks you will be almost always rewarded with runes. The Princess is also able to change your hero's class from her menu, you simply need to ask her.

  • Pay Attention to Accessories

It is essential while creating the strongest weapons possible to deal the most amount of damage you also pay attention to your rings and earings. In Silent Hope your accessories determine your defensive stats and they scale in power as you delve deeper into the Abyss. These items will also sometimes have Magistone slots to grant even more stat boosts than just the accessory itself.

Similar to weapons, accessories come in four rarities - Common, Rare, Super Rare, and Legendary. It is important to keep in mind that the higher rarity doesn't necessarily mean a better accessory. A lower rarity gear with a Magistone slot can sometimes be better than a Legendary-rank item due to its rarity.

It is important to double-check your current skill boosts before swapping accessories because the resistance you previously had can suddenly disappear if you switch out a gear that had a Magistone.

  • How to get Magistones

Magistones in Silent Hope are found in the Abyss early in the game and when equipped will add elemental damage, resistance, or extra stat boosts to the gear you are using. Not all gear can be equipped with a Magistone, only those that display a blank Magistone icon on the creation screen when you go to the Forge to have it made. If your gear meets this criteria you can fit this item with any Magistone in your possession.

The Magistone itself typically matches the current layer's element. Fire-based Magistones are quite common in the Volcano layer, but are pretty scarce anywhere else.

  • Level Every Hero

When playing Silent Hope, it's important to resist the temptation of favoring certain heroes and instead spend time leveling all seven. Having a strong hero to take on challenges and boss fights is useful but being able to swap out heroes for strong uninjured ones periodically throughout explorations of the Abyss will enable you to spend longer there and also grant you additional combat bonuses for the hero they were swapped out for. Also, keep in mind that certain heroes are better for certain worlds.

  • Unlock Skills Early and Regularly Upgrade Them

    Silent Hope Cheats and Tips

Each of the seven heroes in Silent Hope has three skills by default, more will become unlocked as they change classes with story progression. This means across all three of their classes there is a total of nine individual skills per hero.

These skills are either offensive, defensive, or will boost certain stats for a short period of time. Each skill has a cooldown before it's available for use again, and they deal different types and varying degrees of damage. It is recommended that you experiment with the different skills in order to find which ones work best for your build on each hero.

  • Switch Classes as Soon as Possible

When your seven heroes reach Level 15 in their skill progression, you will be able to speak to the Princess at Base Camp to change that hero's class. Higher classes typically have higher stats and better skills,

In general, heroes in higher classes have better stats and skills. You can only access a skill after unlocking that division of the hero's abilities. You typically see more HP and better attack/defense stats, but it is important to carefully review each hero's information carefully to see what's changed. With new skills and improved stats after the switch, it makes sense to change classes as early as possible to begin taking advantage of your new abilities as you work further down in the Abyss.

The new classes are a logical variant of their default job and they come with a new outfit for your hero which cannot be changed without changing class. The third class is unlocked by beating the final boss of Silent Hope.
