If you are actually having trouble getting out of Rast's bedroom in the beginning, then you are probably not alone! Here's what you have to do.

1. Get the locker code by heading over to the red door and looking there.

2. Click the locker that is next to the door to open it.

3. Get the cartridge and adapter and put the two together and go into VR.

These instructions should easily get you out of the beginning stage of the game.
