Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time Cheats and Tips

The best weapons in Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time are the Great Samurai Warrior�??s Sword, Ancient King�??s Mace, and Josephine's Parasol. These are excellent weapons that have the highest damage input in their own selective weapon departments. The downside to these weapons though is they have low durability so it is important that you always repair them when you see the Samurai to ensure they are in top condition for upcoming fights. In order to get both Ancient King and Josephine's weapons you will need to disarm them when they are on their knees at the last bit of health they have left.

First Playthrough
In your first playthrough of Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time you will not be able to maximise your skills so just focus on obtaining the ones that you think will suit your playstyle.

Explore Everywhere
Although the levels are straightforward you should take the time to explore them before heading towards a door or new area. There are always nooks and crannies that obtain loot, chests, or Aku statues that open up doors to secret rooms which can be missed if you don't take the time to look about.

Invest in Beads
Make sure you invest in Beads whenever you unlock them as they will help you considerably when you reach the later levels either giving you a boost on health, defense or overal damage. Remember though that Jack is only able to equip one Bead at a time.



Floating Loot
You will find that floating loot such as Skill Fire doesn't always get picked up as you cross through it. Make sure that you don't miss any by always turning around to double check you have it.

Replay Levels
You can replay all the levels in Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time from the main menu so do not worry about missing items or rooms as you can easily go back to them later.

Counter and Quick Dodge Skills
Invest in the upgrades for the Counter and Quick Dodge skills, they are the best in the game. These moves can eventually slow time, increase damage input, allow your swings to be way faster, and rewards you in white dama/health.

Ranged Enemies First
During combat always eliminate the ranged enemies first, most of which can be taken down by using the bow and arrow or by a shuriken. If you choose to ignore them you will find that they can mess up your ability to fight higher priority enemies.

Nearly all the weapons in Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time become available throughout the story either by finding them in chests, puzzle rooms, or by purchasing them from the Samurai in his shop. The one exception to this rule is the Great Samurai Warrior's Sword which you have to complete certain requirements before it unlocks.

Ghe Great Samurai Warrior's Sword can be found in the Cave of The Ancient and in order to get it you must first obtain the Explosive Arrow from the Scotsman's daughter, which you then need to keep with you instead of using on the breakable wall found in the puzzle room. Stay on the right side of the big room with the fire traps and make your way around until you reach the breakable wall. Defeat the enemies that are there and use an Explosive Arrow to get inside. The floor of this room is filled with lava and fire traps which you need to avoid. You can get around the room to reach some loot and a chest by using the climbable walls. Once you have these goodies head over to the room on the right and use another Explosive Arrow to destroy the floor. Once you are below you need to destroy the Aku statue and use the climbable wall to return upside. If you now enter through the previously locked door and open up the chest you will be able to grab the Great Samurai Warrior's Sword.

The Great Samurai Warrior's Sword doesn't rust and doesn't bend. It has high attack power, yet low durability. It has 5/5 attack, 3/5 durability, 4/5 speed, and 5/5 Kiai power.

You will not be able to unlock missions until ou have completed Aku's Tower, the nineth and final level in the Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time campaign. Once you have managed this you simply have to watch the cutscene and return to the main menu where you will be informed that missions are now accessible.

Missions in Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is a separate mode from the main nine levels of the story campaign. In Missions you will be able to go against waves of enemies and bosses in specific scenarios, using a set preset of weapons and items. There are also Boss Missions which are similar, but will have you facing a set of bosses within a time limit.

You will eventually reach a point in Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time where you will start to see walls or doors that have cracks in them. You will discover that regiular weapons such as firing an arrow at them will have no affect. To access these rooms you need to have Explosive Arrows which will not become available for you until Ruined City, the sixth level of the story where you will be able to purchase them from the Samurai's Shop. It is important that you acquire Explosive Arrows as they are needed to access the breakable doors in Cave of The Ancients and to complete the puzzle in Undead Cemetery where they are used to destroy the Aku statue that appears on the ceiling. Expolosive Arrows are also useful against powerful enemies, flying drones, and bosses.
