Saber Showdown tips

• How do you regenerate Block Points in Saber Showdown? Block Points regenerate when you walk, block, or stand still. Crouching, running, and jumping prevent regeneration.
• How do you jump higher in Saber Showdown? Hold the space bar to perform a power jump.
• How do you roll in Saber Showdown? Jump and crouch as you land to perform a roll.
• How do you lose fewer Block Points when attacking? Tap attack instead of holding it. Learning combo timings also helps conserve Block Points.
• How do you perform combos in Saber Showdown? Hold or tap Left-click while walking in different directions to chain attacks. You cannot combo in the same direction twice in a row.
• How do you deal the most damage in Saber Showdown? Walking provides the best balance of defense and damage. Jumping increases your damage but also makes you take more damage.
• What is Slapping in Saber Showdown? Slapping an opponent who isn't blocking knocks them down, leaving them vulnerable to attacks. Blocking opponents are only pushed back. Knocked-down players cannot perfect block.
• When should you slap an opponent? The best opportunities are just before or after an opponent swings, during longer combos, or when they are running or jumping.
• How do you Swing Block in Saber Showdown? Tap Left-click to attack, then immediately hold Right-click to block while swinging. This prevents you from being slapped or disarmed.
• How do you perform a Perfect Block and Counter? Move your mouse towards the direction of an incoming swing to Perfect Block. Attack immediately as the opponent's strike connects to counter.
• How do you Half Swing in Saber Showdown? Swing once, wait until the animation is almost finished, then attack again in the same or a different direction.
• What is an Interrupt in Saber Showdown? An interrupt occurs when you are attacked during a swing, causing you to take significantly more damage.
• How do you gain Power Focus in Saber Showdown? Look at an opponent for three seconds until smoke appears. Power Focus allows you to use abilities such as Push, Pull, Grip, Lightning, Speed, Sense, Throw, and Jump.
• How do you perform Special Attacks? Press Space + Left-click for an Aerial Special Attack. For a Kata Special Attack with Dual, Staff, or Backhand sabers, press Space + Left-click + W to perform a jumping barrage.
