Box Kick Deep in your Own Half
If you find yourself in a ruck pinned deep in your own half with the opposing team close to scoring a try, your best choice of action will be to choose to perform a box kick. A box kick will boot the ball around 20 feet away and is a good way to defend as it gets the ball away from immediate danger. The downside to a box kick is it gives possession of the ball to the opponent.
Pass to the Wings
The best way to make space and break down a defense once the ball is free from the ruck is to perform long passes to either wing by holding down the 'pass' button on your controller for longer.
A good well-timed long pass to the wing can decimate a defense that has committed too many players to winning the ruck. The downside to a long pass is it more likely to be intercepted or dropped so you need to be careful.

How to Earn Easy Money to Upgrade Players
You can earn money easily in Rugby 20 in order to upgrade your players by playing in the Friendly games (do not simulate them). When you play the Friendly games you will earn the exact same amount of money for a win, loss, or tie. You will also earn money at different points in the season.
Although doing this will enable you to earn money easily it will take you longer to earn the amount you need to uprade your entire team. Don't use the money you earn on buying players, Skill Improvement, Healing, or Stamina Recovery but instead use it to upgrade the players themselves.

Dominate the Rucks
In order to master passing in Rugby 20 you must know how to dominate rucks. To ensure this happens you need to keep an eye on the orange/blue circle around the feet of the players. Keep adding players to the ruck by pressing 'Circle' on your PlayStaton controller ('X' on Xbox Controller) until the circle is almost completely blue, and then try to win the ball (when prompted) by pressing X on your PlayStation controller (A on Xbox controller).
It is important that you do not just add players to the ruck as speed is vital to breaking a defense once the ball is out. You basically want to have as many players as possible in position ready to go when the ball is passed out the ruck.
