Full Review for Rugby 06 by egglabean

Introduction

This is by far the most amazing and addictive Rugby game ever made by far and I think it should be owned by any gaming Rugby fans. An absolutely brilliant game with laods of tournaments to complete and a lot of game time and fun to be had whilst playing it.

Graphics

By far as I said, far superior to those of Rugby 2005 or 2004 ( as you can imagine) but the strucutre of the players makes them run freely and gives full flow to the game, using the fulll potential of the Playstation 2. They really suit th game well and deserve great credit.

Sound

The songs are good, commentary is covered brilliantly and it all fits well into the game giving it a real sense of Rugby if you know what I mean. It really feels like you could be watching a real Rugby match on t.v as the coverage is so precise and well done. Although, the music can get a bit repetative as there are only 10 songs to the soundtrack and sometime the commentary can also get a bit repetative, but overall, it sounds great!

Gameplay

Amazing. Free-flowing, quick, precise Rugby, exactly what any Rugby game shoudl be. Crunching tackles, quick pacey players, precise passing, tactical scrums. Absolutely nothing here is missing, the kicking to the scrums, everything is done brilliantly. The star players really can turn a game round and are great to play alongside/against. Brilliance! The offload passes really keep the game moving too. The character creation center is awesome, the in depth way that you can make your player is superb and I think it gives the game that personal touch wich really adds to the gameplay.

Lastability

Forever. Hahah, I have been playing now like non-stop for nearly a year and I still think it's brilliant, I think you will be hooked on this game for as long as it takes you to get the next one (which isn't out for a while yet!!!) which is a long time and the chances of you getting bored with all the facilities the game offers is unlikely.

Overall

Brilliant! The ganeplay, sound and lastability all comes together to form the most perfectly made Rugby agme that there has ever been. Once you have this game, there will be no need to buy another Rugby game ever (or atleast until Rugby 07 comes out haha). Well worth your money. Trust me!
