Introduction

The latest game in the bond series was supposed to rival Goldeneye and raise the bar even further, but it didn`t go to plan. The visuals are nice but the enimies are boring and the missions can get a bit lame. And it is so short I almost had a heart attack playing through it. And the weapons, there aren`t that many of them.

Graphics

The landscapes at some points can be beautiful and the backgrounds can look stunning at some points during thee game. When you shoot a extinguisar the effect is awesome, the same with shooting oil barrels. And the detail of Bond and his costumes are fantasic ecspicially in the Exterior level, and the weather effects also boost the score.

Sound

The thing which disapointted me the most was that the was no opening bond theme tune. And during the levels they could have played the origanal bond theme tune, the casino royale tune and the quantum of solace tune. There was some quite good character voice overs from stars such as Judi Dench and Mr.Bond himself Daniel Craig.

Gameplay

The cover to cover system works well but the enimies are a bit spazy since that all the cover they use you can shoot them in the head most of the time. The action button press sequences are quite cool but even on 007 difficulty the enimies are a walkover.

Lastability

Since they merged two bond movies together the game should have taken a fair bit of time but quantum of solace is a ultra short game. And you start off playing solace the royale, and then solace again, whats the point of that? And after you complete the game the only thing you can do is try to collect all the cell phones. Poor.

Overall

Quantum os Solace is a really short game and there aren`t many weapons etc... But I suppose the next bond game in the series will be a much better one than the pile of crap solace was... Maybe I'm being a bit harsh the graphics are great and the is a good cover to cover system, but thats not enough for me.
