Killing venom might be hard but here is something that I leard, you can only hit him 3 to 4 times. More than 4, he will fight you. When you can't make venom's helth go down, wait ultil he goes to the ground then when the triagle button appears press it and your buddy harry will do the rest. You have yo do this 2 times until you move on.
You can hit him 3x then press and hold "L" and "triangle" then hit him again
