In order to move on I need to complete "lap it up hairball". I've got the first key and am now in the room where I'm jumping over barrels of fish to knock over the box of dog biscuits. Once I've knocked over the box where do I run?

I'm on that part as well. I've tried checking the room to the left but couldn't find anything to climb on. Then I tried running as fast as I could to the staircase but time always runs out when I'm almost near the boxes. Did you manage to pass this part?
