Brakes not working

I'm doing the first full flight and then I cannot stop the aircraft when the gears touch the runway. I tried experimenting different ways to land but it never stops when on ground. This also happens at the Tornado mission and the Air Taxi Service. I keep on overshooting. Anyway, I almost can stop the fighters and completely stop the propeller airplanes.

To use the air breaks hold L & R together and you will see a red arrow pointing down next to the speed (SPD) meter and you will see your speed going down.To use the wheel breaks hold down circle once you have landed an you you will once again see the red arrow pointing down.
