I've noticed that some of my Characters' Combo attacks say "Mash Technique" beside the Button input.(Karin, Sasuke

A Mash Technique only works if the Enemy is in range. In other words, the enemy has to be right in front of you for it to fully work. Ex: Sasuke attacks with his Susano Blade combo, but no target is in range, which means he won't use the full combo, where as if he used the Susano Blade combo, and hits someone, he'll repeatedly slash the enemy into the air from all directions. So basically, These techniques need to make physical contact in order to work. Also, once you've made contact with your target repeatedly tap the Attack button to do a chain of combo attacks.
