Customized Characters

Is there a way to use customizard characters in heroes mode because I keep losing to the three sanin.They keep dodging my attacks with a substitution jutsu

You can't use your customized characters in heroes mode.You can only use them in vs. Cpu mode and wireless mode.I use team genius to beat the legendary sannin.Their abilities work the best on that team if you use them before the match starts.Lower their defense with shikamaru,seal two members chakra with neji,and lower two members health with sasuke.Even if you die,the abilities that you used on them in the beginning will still be there.
