Attack the monster and make it flinch once for every area it enters until it reaches the castle area.
Once it reaches the castle use the cannons,ballistas and dragonater, once you have used them attack the montster over and over again, once the time runs out the screen should say it's retreating, if it dosnt you havnt dealt enough damage.
Use Bombs, (both small,largeand plus)farcaster have at least 5, use a weapon with dragon effect and attack stomach or head
Be cautions of the Tail during your attacks

If you can do enough damage to it, you can kill it in the last area. If you want to repel it keep it at bay until the timer is over, being careful to not let fort fall under 10%.
