I need to kill a Chameleos and want to know how...please help!?

make the jade storm bow gun and its easy with good armor with at least 24 defense plenty amunition

your going to need the dragon scythe that you create from the dark stone/pieces then you shoul bring 1of each thing im about to list max potion mega armorskin/demon drug, power/armor pill and a well done steak then your going to need full of these next items potion/mega potion herbs enegy drinks and sonic bombs oh and a power and armor charm helps the chameleos can only be hurt from the front area in the head and chest in order to hurt it in the back to get its tail u need to use the o button attack til it falls then use your spirit gage on the tail then there you go after 25 min he should flee and to kill him you need to make him flee then take the next quest with his name in it and he will die after some time of bashing on him

i used imperial gunlance and it went well if u decide to use this i would suggest blocking and firing also dont forget to use wyvern fire

I used Spartacus fire (light bowgun) and just took a full compliment of ammunition. I don't know if it matters, but I had a full rathian gunner set (except I had the helmet instead of the cap and I had rathalos leggings). I also took plenty of healing and stamina restoration items.

He isnt too hard, just be patient and don't get careless.

Get the black katana mk.2 and the yian garga armor 10 smoke bombs 10 sonic bombs traps don't work on him and 10 mega potions and potions 20 weat stones and a strong cat

Just need some skills, I killed it with eager cleaver. And I just need 10 potions and herbs, of course with whetstone and ration too. Hit it from the front, don't be too greedy in attacking.
