Rathalos

I need rathalos tails but I can never get them. I always cut off the tails but still never get them. I was wondering if the only way get them is in high rank quests even though they do not have a + after them

To get some tails try kill rathalos fast and skillfully kill it w/o using potions or first-aid.I always get a rathalos tail because it depends how the hunter spends it's time and how he kill it. Even if I'm using hammers I always get tails. How about if you catch one. I know that it's easier to get that than to kill and try your luck :P
