How do I get to play monster hunter online by connecting my PSP to my PS3? What do I do?

Sorry buddy but you can't do that in the US version. See, the infrastructure mode was still in beta testing even in Japan when they released the game here. Now, theres no saying that they might not make it downloadable at some point, but for now you're out of luck. However theres no need to despair! See, Monster Hunter Tri (3), is due out here in the US March of next year on the Wii. That game supports online playing and brings tons of new monsters, under water fighting, new weapons along with the loss of some of the weapons we're used too, and tons of beautiful gameplay. Sorry I had to pop your bubble but I gave you some hope for tomorrow too.

Well those online rooms are used for ad hoc mode only. So unless you have some hunter friends near by that can get within 30 ft of you, you're king out of luck.

If you have Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, use these steps:
1 - Connect your PS3 to your router using a CAT5 cable
2 - Download Adhoc from the PS Store (free)
3 - Install and run Adhoc, go into a room
4 - Go into the online guild hall on your PSP
