How I did it was a very high level flonne, some mages that knew magic boost and a thief with high hit to steal his items and put em on flonne.

For the high hit buy a pair of foresight glasses that have a hit of between 1500 and 2000 or more. Go into their item world but be careful, they are only Laharls who are high levels so if you got someone round lvl 1500-2000 you'll live. Best thing to do is get the item specialist as far in as possible bcos when you go up a level so does the item and it's specialists but the limit is 30 so do it before then. When done put the specialist into a hand. Ur gunna need 2 or more hit specialists if you want to take Baals items.

Patience is a virtue. Try looking for a Cosmic Sword (Must be a legendary one) Go to it's item world. Finish it up to 100th floor. The Item God in the last floor is holding a sword called Yoshitsuna. Steal it from him. When it is done, go to it's item world and finish it again up to the 100th floor to increase it's power. Equip the sword then go to baal's castle. Now you don't even realize that Laharl has leveled up that is good enough to defeat baal.
