Pay Attention to your Character's Physiological Needs

As The Forest is a survival game it is essential that you continually pay attention to the physiological needs of your character so that you can ensure they are in good health, failing to do so will result in lower stamina which will impact combat and sprinting.

If your character lacks energy it is crucial that he eats otherwise you risk him dying of starvation if it is not dealt with. If he has blood on his hands it indicates an infection that will need to be attended to prevent it developing into a fatal disease, and a freezing screen indicates the onset of hypothermia which can also be fatal.
