How to Solve the Magical Fox Puzzle and Unlock the Fox
The first puzzle in RiME is the Magical Fox Puzzle and solving it will unlock your Fox companion and also grant you access to the next area. To solve this puzzle, you need to use your voice to interact with four different Fox Statues that are located throughout the first area. Take a look at the video below which shows you where to find the Four Fox Statues and how to unlock the Fox.

Follow the Fox
The animal companion you unlock in the beginning of RiME that looks like a fox but barks like a dog will guide you through the game if you are unsure where to go. All you need to do is follow the fox or listen out for the direction of it's bark.
Dive in the Water
There will be instances where in order to reach your desired destination you will have no option but to dive in water. When you do so make sure you dive as deep as you can in order to search around and locate your next path. When you run out of oxygen the area around the screen will begin to turn darker. You can however get oxygen while you are underwater from the pipe like corals which air bubbles burst from.
