In the unlimited money cheat, it say "cross" so what does it mean?

I don't know what the cross means either but I'm pretty sure that is could be the X button. Try that to see if it works.
The official term PlayStation uses for the "X" button is "Cross" (located at the bottom of the four face buttons on the right side of the controller).
