Remember the following:

• Normal attacks interrupt unblockable attacks.

• Unblockable attacks and throws interrupt counters.

• Counters are effective against normal attacks.

During a combo it is important that you rush your opponent down with the dash move as much as you can. If possible try and force them into a corner so you give them nowhere to go.

If you are using a projectile based character, in almost every case a projectile hit can be followed up with a dash that brings you in range for a target combo.
