Finding success (RTTS)
At the menu, choose 1B. Use 1 flex point on power, 2 on contact, and 2 on speed. While this may open yourself to some errors, they will rarely occur and you will get more praise by your team for your offense than your defense. Once you are done with the draft, go ahead and sim most of your minor league games. Be sure to play some of your games and check your training points. And since we're talking training points, always prioritize hitting and speed and only use your training points on fielding every 50 games to make sure you don't become TOO crappy of a fielder. Your overall will take quite a hit if you let that happen, and it will take you much longer to reach the show (aka the MLB for all those non-baseball freaks). Once you reach the MLB, you might have to restart because they are not giving you an everyday job or at least a platoon role. I'm sorry, but that might happen. Even if you do deserve a platoon or everyday role, you still might have to restart because the CPU managers are really, really stupid. It's happened to me lots of times. One last thing. Becoming a role on an MLB team should not be easy. Oh also, here are the list of teams that you should shoot for.
Good teams:
Angels
Yankees
Rangers
Cardinals (if you're shooting for platoon)
Athletics
Mets
Red Sox (Ortiz is programmed to retire, and Shaw might be playing 3rd vs lefties because Sandoval can't hit lefties)
Rays (maybe)
Mariners (if you're shooting for platoon)
Braves (if you're shooting for platoon)
Phillies
Nationals
Brewers (if you're shooting for platoon)
Pirates
Rockies
Dodgers (if you're shooting for platoon. Things might also become easy in a bit because A-gon is 33)
Giants
Bad teams:
The other 13 teams I didn't mention on the "good teams" list
You got this bro. Now make me proud and hit some long, long home runs ;)
