Jump Force is a Japanese crossover fighting game that features characters from various manga Shōnen Jump universes. The Story Mode of Jump Force consists of 9 chapters, all of which introduce new plot elements. When earth is invaded by the 'Venoms', an army of mind-controlled villains led by Kane and Galena many heroes are recruited to join the 'Jump Force' under the leadership of Director Glover and his A.I. partner Navigator in order to fight back. Jump Force is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Take a look at our tips to get help in the game.

You can avoid a barrage of combos by simply pressing the dash button on your controller, doing so however will completely deplete your characters's stamina leaving you vulnerable for another attack for a short period of time.
Another way to effectively evade the incoming attack and save the stamina of your character is to perform the sidestep by pressing the Left analog stick + R1/ RB on your controller. To perform the sidestep successfully though you will need to anticipate your opponent's attack in order to time the sidestep correctly. If you do manage to get the timing right you will be in a great position to counter-attack. Not all attacks need to be avoided, some can be easily dealt with by holding the block button (R1/ RB).
When your Awakening gauge if filled you will be able to use your character's Awakening attack. Make sure before you do you remember to tap R3 on your PlayStation 4 controller (right analog stick on Xbox One) in order for your character to enter an Awakened state which will substantially increase the amount of damage your Awakening attack deals. You will remain in the Awakened state until the gauge is depleted and there is the possibility that new character visuals may unlock during that time.
Although it is possible to get through Story Mode by just using the J-Skills you get at the start of the game you can get more powerful J-Skills which will make things a lot easier by completing the Free Missions. You can see what rewards you will get for each mission by heading to Free Missions at the Missions Desk and pressing 'Toggle View'.
To maximise your damage output it is essential that you learn how to juggle opponents and string combos together as soon as possible. To string combos together you need to hold down the R2 or RT button and select an attack with one of the face buttons on your controller.
In order to maximise damage you need to aim to use your super at the end of the combo, then lock when your opponent begins to fall along the arena's boundary so that you lock them into another combo. You will need to experiment with your abilities to find out which ones are the most effective when they are chained together.
