How to get Bonus XP and Crypto

When you take on contracts in Firewall Zero Hour you will receive XP for certain actions that you complete, and also earn the in-game currency of the game which is known as 'Crypto'. There is though another way in which you can gain bonus XP and Crypto as you play and that is by searching the maps, each of which having an Intel pickup that any player on your team can grab for bonus XP and by keeping an eye out for the Crypto coins that are randomly scattered everywhere.

Customize your Loadout

Once you reach Level 4 in Firewall Zero Hour you will be able to start customizing your loadout in the menu. It is recommended before you spend your Crypto (the currency of the game) you experiment with the different weapon attachments which include suppressors, grips, and laser sights to find the ones that you feel comfortable with and suits your playstyle.

If you are saving up for a whole new weapon then you may want to consider the Kruger assault rifle which is particularly effective in long-range maps, like Docks and Warehouse.

Revive Teammates

Death does not necessarily mean the end of the game. Although there are no respawns in Firewall Zero Hour a teammate can come and revive you up to two times during the small window of bleed out you have. The third time you get downed however there is no way to return, the game is over for you. If you get taken down you should help your teammates by cycling through security cameras and relaying enemy locations via voice chat. Once you reach Level 26 you will unlock the Revive Pistol which if you equip as a secondary weapon will enable you to revive teammates from afar.

Advance Slowly

As there are no respawns in Firewall Zero Hour and you can easily be taken down by a few well-placed shots it is recommended that you take things slow, stick with your teammates, continuously watch each other's flanks, and assess each scenario you encounter carefully in order to avoid making mistakes that will get you killed.

Remember also that you should only sprint when absolutely necessary, you can sprint in Firewall Zero Hour by pressing L3 on your PlayStation controller but doing so unless you have the perk that nullifies it will make a lot of noise which is something you do not want to do as it will attract the enemy, and they will converge on your location.

Teamwork annd Communication are Crucial

It is important to remember that Firewall Zero Hour is a team-based game where it is critical that you work together with your teammates to stay alive as there are no respawns. This means you should be in constant communication with your teammates in order to call out where you see enemies and objectives.

In Firewall Zero Hour you are not limited by the confines of your controller like other games and can physically motion your gun to teammates, lean around corners, or blind fire over cover. These are all tactics you need to make sure you take advantage of to help keep yourself and your teammates alive.
