Always keep all 14 characters in your party leveled and equipped at all times as you never know when you will need to go through your whole party in a mission. Go through each character and upgrade as many abilities as possible and give them decent equipment.
To get the Teacher's Pet achievement/trophy you must sit in on one of Moglin's lectures. The first time this can be attempted is during your second break after the first mission 'The Cadets' First Deployment'.
All you need to do when you return to Akademia is go to the 'Class Zero' classroom and talk to the Moglin to take a class. Each class takes 2 hours of free time and the moogle will give you a lecture about combat. You just need to make sure you have at least 2 hours before going to the classroom.
To get the The Executioner achievement/trophy you must land Killsight strikes on 100 enemies. In order to get a Killsight strike on an enemy in Final Fantasy Type-0 you must hit your adversary when there is a red circle around them which tends to be when they are attacking.
The easiest way to unlock the achievement/trophy is to use a long ranged character and continually fight soldiers in random encounters before the second mission on the overworld. King is a good choice to use for unlocking this achievement/trophy as he has the ability to attack fast and requires less timing than some other characters.
To get the secret A Lonely Battle achievement/trophy you must earn the 'A Lonely Battle' bonus. In order to do this you must finish a mission with only two characters in your party.
You can do this by loading up the first mission 'The Cadets' First Deployment' and only select two characters total for your party and 'Refuse' reinforcements from the school. When you then successfully complete the mission you will unlock the achievement/trophy. If you use two Level 15 characters this is very easy to accomplish.
To get the secret An Army of One achievement/trophy you must earn the 'An Army of One' bonus. You will be able to obtain this bonus anytime by playing the first mission 'The Cadets' First Deployment' and playing with only the character you use, this means having no support and no party members.
You can do this by only picking the character you want to use and then when the game asks for Reserves press 'Start' to continue. At the next screen select that one character as your Active character and when the game asks if you want support click 'Refuse'. All you need to do now is complete the mission, and you will unlock the achievement/trophy. If you use a Level 15 character on Cadet difficulty you will not have too many problems completing the mission.
To get the Moogle Mingler achievement/trophy you must talk with the moogles from all 13 classes. You will be able to get this achievement/trophy immediately after going to your homeroom for the first time. Listed below are the locations where you will find each of the moogles. The moogles are labeled 0-12 and not 1-13.

It is essential that you save regularly as you never know when something might go wrong and you do not want to have an important character in your party dying. Always save just before you are about to take on a big boss. Although you can always abort a mission and try again it's a good strategy to keep multiple save files.
