In Eville you either convince others you're not a murderer to stay alive or take on the role of a Conspirator and betray your friends by doing your deeds when no one is watching. The game is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you should sometimes abstain from voting and how to redeem gift codes.

• Gameplay is Similar to Among Us

  Eville is a social deduction game that plays similar to Among Us except in this game you either play as a villager or conspirator. If you play the role of a villager your job is to deduce who the conspirators are while trying to keep yourself save in the meantime.

  If you play as a conspirator your priority is to try and take out as many villagers as you can without being caught. Basically, if you have played Among Us this game will feel familiar.

• Don't Bother Buying Tome of Death

  In Eville a Tome of Death is used on deceased players to uncover their roles and at a cost of 50 coins a piece it's something you shouldn't bother with as there isn't much usefulness to gain. The only time you should be using Tome of Death is during intense and challenging matches.

  Instead, save your coins for better options such as the Tripwire which you can place inside your house and will wake you up if there is an intruder or the sleeping powder which when used on a conspirator will prevent them from leaving their house for the night.

• Abstain from Voting

  A town meeting can be called whenever someone is murdered and a discussion will take place regarding the death and will end in accusations. A town meeting can also be called once a day by ringing the bell in the town square.

  Whenever these two town meetings take place you are presented with the opportunity to accuse another player, however it may be more beneficial to abstain if you are not sure rather than risk your vote being the one that causes an innocent person to be executed which results in one less person to help uncover the true conspirator.

• Don't Rely on the Battle Pass

  Eville, like other games that have multiplayer has a battle pass you can play through to earn rewards such as skins and loading screens. These cosmetic items though won't help you as they don't affect the game in any way. The only gameplay-improving benefits you can earn from the Battle Pass that will help you survive the night are a couple of XP boosters.
