How to Win a Match

In order to win a match in Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT you need to incapacitate characters, this means you have to basically KO them three times. The two bars that you see in the upper left corner of the screen segmented into three sections represent the three KOs. The blue bar is your team's bar while the opposing team is the red bar. Whenever a character is KO'd using HP Attacks one segment of that team's bar will be removed. A team that has no more segments remaining loses the match. The two types of attacks are the Bravery Attack and the HP Attack, Bravery Attacks are performed by pressing the X button on your PlayStation controller and moving the Left Analog Stick in a direction while HP Attacks are performed by pressing the Square button on your PlayStation 4 controller. The following is the list of the best characters in Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT and having them in your team will help you to win your fair share of matches.

- Squall Leonhart

- Sephiroth

- Warrior of Light

- Ramza Beoulve

- Noctis Lucis Caelum

- Bartz Klauser

- The Emperor

Teamwork Wins Matches

In Dissidia: Final Fantasy it is more beneficial to have a mix of different character classes in your party that work together as a team instead of having a party with three similar character types. It is important to remember that any team with three similar character types will be a lot easier to defeat as the enemy will be able use attacks that exploit ther weakness. Take the time to learn about each character on the roster and what class they fall into so you know how to take advantage of them in a match.

Know the Character Classes

Therea are four different character classes in Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT and they play differently to each other. The game has a rock-paper-scissors system in play where Vanguards are strong against Assassins, Marksmen have an edge against Vanguards, and Assassins are strong against Marksmen. A good strategy therefore is to target enemies the character class you have chosen is strong against. The class you will ultimately pick will be the one that best suits your playstyle. Listed below are the four character classes along with each of their strengths and weaknesses.

Vanguards

This character class specializes in powerful attacks at close or mid-range, their downside is they are slow. Characters in this class include Sephiroth, Cloud, Cecil and the Warrior of Light.

Assassins

This character class has excellent mobility and is able to attack fast, their downside is they hit weaker and take less damage than other classes. Characters in this class include Tidus, Noctis, Kain, and Zidane.

Marksmen

This character class operates at long range where they are lethal. There downside is they are a squishy type of character that is easy prey for a melee attacker. Characters in this class include Ace, Terra, Kefka, and Y'shtola.

Specialists

This character class are all-rounders and although they are not weak in any area they also do not not excel in any. Most of the characters in this class has a special ability such as extra HP attack options or the ability to buff the party. Characters in this class include Bartz, Vaan, and the Onion Knight.

Do the Tutorial

Avoid the temptation to skip the tutorial and get straight into the action. It is far more beneficial to begin by going through the tutorials in order to understand how movement and positioning works in Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT as knowing the most effecient ways to get around is vital. The tutorials take about 15 minutes and they will teach you essential things such as dashing, wall runs, and how to use special skills.
