To get the Torpedo Master achievement/trophy you must hit a moving ship with a torpedo. You can get this achievement/trophy 3-4 missions into the US campaign when you are given a ship with torpedos.
To get a hit with a torpedo you need to fly low enough (36 M altitude) so that your 'aiming plane' turns white. When this happens you need to press L2 on your Xbox controller a good distance before the ship so you allow time for the torpedo to hit the water and then travel the required distance to hit it's target.
The most important thing in Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers is making sure at the start of most missions when you are given the option to select your aircraft and their weapons you think about the type of mission you are about to undertake and choose accordingly so you can perform at maximum efficiency. Choosing poorly can sometimes render you completely ineffective.
To get the Aces High achievement/trophy you must reach maximum EXP with any pilot. The maximum EXP you can get in Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers is 255 and by the end of the 5th mission on the first US campaign you should reach this requirement if you do the following.
All you need to do is to destroy anything that moves without your pilot dying, the easiest way to do this is to edit the plane loadouts so that you change the fighter guns to 6x machine gun turrets. Whenever you run out of ammunition hold down the 'Select' button on your Xbox Controller in order to switch to different plane and continue your assault.
To get the Mind the Water achievement/trophy you must successfully land on a carrier at mission's end. When you reach the end of most of the 'main missions' in Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers the game will prompt you to 'land on the carrier'. When this happens press the A button on your Xbox controller to enable the gps icon to land and then do the following steps:
1) Line up with the ship
2) Drop your throttle to about 150kph
3) Tap and hold the 'Select' button for about 2 seconds to drop the landing gear.
4) As you are touching down, gently throttle down until you come to a complete stop.
