Although Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame is a remake it does however have brand-new visuals and Controls redesigned to fit your device. Unfortunately though those controls which are button-presses and swipes don't always register which you will find particularly annoying in the combat sequences. The combat sequences have their own set of controls and tend to be simple counter-attacking knife fights that involves timing your attacks and blocks just right so you don't get penalised.
The gist of the game is pretty much the same as the 1989 version as you play the protogonist and using a repertoire of jumps and swashbuckling, you traverse a series of caves, ruins, and temples on your way to a showdown with Jaffar, the prince's old nemesis who has returned from the dead and usurped his identity and throne.
