Pokemon Pearl... A game. It is an ok game I guess. Not the best game I have ever played. Really the only fun part is going into the underground and migrating pokemon. I have had this game since last april and I beat the Elite Four in About 4 months. Not alot of time if you ask me.
Anyone who would give the graphics score less then a ten is out of there mind. The 3-D is awesome and the moves are very detailed. In the old games you could only see one side of a building. But now you can see the side of a building when you walk to the left or right.
Great sound. You don't even have to turn the volume up all the way to have the speakers fill a gymnasium with sound. The sound is timed really well with the gameplay and touch screen. In the underground when you are digging for gems the sound for the hammer and pick axe are completly different.
The gameplay is quite good. There are alot of extra fun featues. Going into the underground is fun with alot of people with you. Migrating Pokemon is fun but it is too easy to fill up your pokedex by migrating. When you surf you go so much slower then you did in the GBA games. Also in the underground I liked how they incorperated the touch screen and microphone into the gameplay.
When you beat the Elite Four there are a whole bunch more things to do other then training pokemon. There are alot of Legendary's you can catch afterwards. And catching them is less callenging too (For example I caught Giratina with a pokeball, no joke!). Also it is fun to fill up your pokedex.
The overall game is fun. But it would be better if you could travel to all parts of the "Pokemon World". Going back to Kanto, Jhoto and Hoenn would make it for fun to fill up the pokedex. It also needs to be easier to get certain pokemon. For example a magnemite can only be caught by migrating or waiting for a rare Swarm. But all in all it is a good game.
