Introduction

Pokemon Heart Gold Review- By "KoolKat Gold"
I think that this game is really good but a few flaws are all that need to be fixed.
If you are a new Pokemon fan, this is the perfect game.
If you aren't, then play classic Gold and if you're not satisfied play this. So I had this as my first DS title, so let's get to it!

Graphics

I'd give graphics a 9 out of 10, because I think that the graphics have improved alot since the old days when classic Gold came out. The Pokemon have gotten very great new designs, while the Rival doesn't look like he's wearing tights anymore- a BIG difference.
So Graphics have improved and they are

Final Score 9/10.

Sound

I'd say 9/10 not because it's improved a bit, I know it improved, but I am a classic music fan. I love 8 and 16 bit music. But when I ran into Raikou/Entei, let's just say that I knew what was coming right away. So why do I think 9/10? Because you can get a GB sounds machine that lets you listen to the music in un-improved form.

Final Score 9/10

Gameplay

Maybe 8/10 for this one. It's because since this is a remake, not very much changes, but I do like-

Suicune Plot from Crystal
Walk with Pokemon from Pokemon Yellow
GB sound machine
And of course, the old stuff not changing.

And just because I haven't completed my Pokedex completely yet doesn't mean that I can't ever beat it.

Lastability

10/10 totally.
Even in the very originals (Red, Blue,(Japan) Red, Green, the Pokedex has been a long challenge. This game has many more Pokemon than those games.
Plus, this game has 2 playable Regions, so I think that it adds so much gameplay. The lastability means that you have to complete the-
Johto
Kanto
Hoenn
Sinnoh
Pokedexes to finish the game completely.
A good Idea is to trade after you catch legendaries, just to get Groudon, which you need to get Raquaza.
I give it 10/10 for a good Reason!

Overall

Overall is- 9/10. It's really a good game, but if you have Gold for the old Game Boy then play it and decide which one you like more.
HeartGold certainly has more features, including Arceus's appearance by trade making a free chance to get Dialga, Palkia, or Giratina. So 9/10 is perfect for me.

Final Score: 90%
