How do you get past the rusted gates on the university chapter

The gates are to rusty to get through , it says find another way what way please

If it's the same spot I'm thinking of, look for a dumpster to push

There is a big dumpster that is right by the top of the small hill to the left grab it and start pushing it down the hill. Joel will slip and it rolls down hill crashing it open. Then grab that same dumpster and push it over to the right of the truck to hop onto it and tgen climb.
