So I was breeding my raptors, okay. I got the egg, I get my fires, I go to set the egg down and boom it disappears. Cant find it anywhere. This has happened twice. I don't know if it's just a bug or I'm just going crazy. Is there a fix?

I don't know what's wrong, but you're not crazy; it happened to my dodo egg (don't ask why I was breeding dodos... Maybe I eat my pets 😖)
I've had the same thing happen to me I wait until my dodos finish mating. As soon as they do and an egg is dropped, I pick it up and try to place it between some camp fires and when I do that, they're nowhere to be found. This is on Xbox.
