The best weapon in the game is the minigun, especially at close quarters where it is deadly. If you equip it with a huge ammo clip you will never have to reload in the middle of a firefight. The minigun has some drawbacks though, it loses accuracy at greater distances and once you have opened fire it is slow to aim.

Focus on leveling up your favourite weapons and skills by completing challenges, you will discover at max level most of them transform from useful supplements to overpowered saving graces.
