Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice PlayStation 4 Cheats and Tips

To obtain Gramr, the legendary sword in Hellbladde: Senua's Sacrifice you must overcome the four Odin trials, the Labyrinth Shard Trial is one of these. During this trial Senua's mind will be lured into a seemingly endless labyrinth which she must navigate her way out of.

The way to overcome this trial is to follow the correct path which you will be able to do by listening to Dillion's cries for help. The correct pathway to follow to lead Senua out of the labyrinth is; left, right, left, right, right, right, followed by a final right. When you successfully complete this trial you will also unlock the Escaped achievement/trophy.

To get the Sacrifice achievement/trophy you must pull Gramr out of the Tree. In order to do this Senua must first successfully complete all four of the Odin trials to reforge Gramr, the legendary sword that is able to kill gods.

After completing all four of the Odin trials, Senua is able to pull the sword from the tree and use it against enemies. Gramr deals a slight increase in damage, which you will need to keep the Viking hordes at bay. Gramr is needed in the fight against Fenrir and then in the final battle in Hela's Sanctum. Once you have crafted the sword you will unlock the Sacrifice achievement/trophy.

To get the Extinguished achievement/trophy you must defeat Surtr, God of Fire. This boss is very slow and doesn’t spawn any minions making him the easiest boss to defeat in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.

Always dodge sideways when you fight Surtr, and he will almost always miss you. Keep hitting Surtr with heavy attacks, so he kneels down and is surrounded by fire. You will not be harmed by the fire so rush towards him and land some heavy attacks from behind while he kneels. Doing this will quickly deplete his health. If Surtr knocks you on the ground press X on your PlayStation controller (A on Xbox controller) to quickly get back up. Stop attacking when Surtr starts burning and press R2 to use your vision. This will stop him from burning and make him vulnerable. Once you have defeated Surtr you will get the achievement/trophy.

In Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice you will occasionally encounter Rune Gates that will block your progress and in order to get past them, you will need to solve a short puzzle each time.

These giant iron gates are emblazoned with a specific rune and to continue your progress you need to search the nearby environment for some object, or combination of objects that form the shape of the rune on the gate. If a flaming rune appears in your visions as you wander around each area it is to signify you are near the object you need to create the rune. There will be instances where you will be required to line up a tree branch or other object to form the rune. Take a look at the video below if you are struggling to solve the puzzles.

There are a total of 44 Lorestones in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and these collectibles represent Senua's friend, Druth, and his teachings of the Northmen for her journey. Collecting all 44 Lorestones will unlock the Stories From the North achievement/trophy and if you collect all 44 of them in a single playthrough you will unlock the secret ending at the end of the game.
