In Angry Birds Star Wars Han Solo's ship the Millenium Falcon replaces the Mighty Eagle and will rescue you when you get stuck on particularly hard levels. To earn this power up you must either collect gold stars or buy more Mighty Falcons within the app. Calling upon the Mighty Falcon requires use of a targeting droid that sets things up for the ship to come in and lets loose with it's lasers to reduce to dust a level that you've been struggling with.
As you progress through the levels in Angry Birds Star Wars make sure you keep an eye out for any reflective surfaces as more often than not this indicates there is a secret character somewhere nearby. Secret characters include the R2-D2 and C3PO birds.
In Angry Birds Star Wars you will encounter enemies in fixed positions that will fire lasers at you. If a bird gets hit directly by one of these lasers it will stop them dead in their tracks and knock them out of the way. Sometimes when this happens the pigs will have unwittingly given you a better angle to drop down with. Also remember that the Jedi birds are able to use The Force to defelct lasers back at the pigs.
Keep an eye out for the hidden Golden Droids that are the same metalic colour as C3P0 because if you manage to hit them in the level they appear in you will immediately unlock a special feature. These Golden Droids do not appear very often in the game's 80 levels so make sure you get close enough to hit the when they do show up.
With the exception of the Blue bird, all the birds in Angry Birds Star Wars are given new Star Wars powers that have not been seen in any previous Angry Bird game, some of which are upgraded as the game progresses further. The Han Solo bird for example has a blaster that fires off three laser rounds and the Jedi Luke Skywalker bird has a blue lightsaber that swipes and slices structures in an arc-shape. Make sure you get familiar with all the new Star Wars powers the birds have.
