1.           Introduction


The origins of the FAQ where on the Metal Gear Solid 4 message board 
Of Gamefaqs.com It started as a post telling others of all 69 weapon 
Locations and how to obtain them. Users of gamefaqs.com asked 
That this be transformed into a official FAQ, and i thought...

2.        How to use this Guide

This FAQ will follow this template.

Damage: The amount of damage from each bullet

Shock: The chance of making an enemy stagger

Penetration: The amount of damage from each bullet when it hits an 
Enemy wearing Body Armour.

Stability: How much the weapon jumps when you fire it

Reload: How fast the weapon reloads

Lock: The maximum distance the weapon can auto aim

Sleep: The amount of time it will take for the enemy to wake up naturally 
(Varies between difficulty)

Stun: The amount of time it will take the enemy to regain conscious 
Naturally (varies between difficulty)

Location: Where the weapon can be found

All of the Stats are ranked E to S. "E" being the worst and 
"S" being the best. N/A means that the stat does not have a Rank.

The Five Seven can be found on some FROG soldiers. 
An easy way is to tranq a lone FROG soldier 
(near the end of Act 2, for instance) and take away her P90, 
then start to wake her but move away before she's completely awake, 
and then tranq her again. Most human enemies in the game will take a 
pistol out if they lose their primary weapon in such circumstances.

Found on some PMC and Dwarf Gekkos.

Middle East / Downtown: Crawl under the flipped car, take the first 
Left and climb over the boxes. Turn right then Left then Right again. 
There should be a building north - East of you, go up to the 3rd floor 
With a PMC sniper inside the room to the left of the stairs. 
The PSS is inside a locker in that room.

Middle East / Advent Palace: On the 4th floor of the building there will 
Be an air duct to the North - East of the open roof area. 
Send the MK.2 through the duct and take the first left, 
Continue forward and take the next left.
Follow it from there and the PSS should be at a dead end.

South America / Power Station: Head into the power plant and 
Destroy the two control panels near a window in the room
With the generator. The electrical line should power down, 
Climb the ladders on the support beam and shimmy across the line
To a secret area. The PSS is on top of some boxes along with ammo, 
noddels and Pentazemin. 

South America / Power Station Part 2: After the cinematic with 
Drebin there will be a giant path in front of you. 
Take a left at the beginning of this path to find an alternative route. 
Follow this route up until you reach two boulders close together. 
The PSS is in between them.

South America / Vista Mansion: Go through the front door of 
the mansion and go to the room on your first right. 
Go straight through this room to another, the PSS is in front of you.

South America / Mountain Trail: Once you cross the bridge follow
the path dead ahead of you, the PSS is in/near a shack at
the end of the trial.

South America / Mountain Trial: Near the end of this area 
continue forward at the entrance to the next area. The PSS is to the 
right near a PMC or FROG.

South America / Marketplace: Hug the right wall of the long stretch, 
the PSS is somewhere near.

Eastern Europe / Midtown S Sector: When you see the Resistance member 
turn left and follow the alley way. The PSS is in a building down the ally.

Eastern Europe / Midtown Central Sector: When you enter the area 
hug the left wall and take the first left, 
follow the street down and take the first left. 
The PSS is to the left of the area.

Outer Haven / Ship Bow: At the start take a right and climb a ladder of 
one of the look out arch things. Keep following ladders upward until 
you reach the top. The PSS is right in front of you.

Outer Haven / Ship Bow: Hug the far left area and continue 
forward until you reach some stairs. follow them up
and climb the ladder, the PSS is at the end of the left path.

Outer Haven / Ship Bow: Same as above but hug the far right instead.

Outer Haven / Ship Bow: To the left of the small room with the water 
tight door.

I found one or two of them before the siege of Vista Mansion. 
Near the start of the area hug the left wall and move toward the mansion 
gates, you should come upon a clearing with some PMC soldiers 
standing on top of a hill that leads toward the gate, 
one or two resistance fighters should come running up armed w/ G18C's, 
let them get killed by the PMC's and take the G18C's.
