Level Select for Original Sonic the Hedgehog
With the original Sonic the Hedgehog unlocked, you are able to press the following buttons on the game's title screen to activate a Level Select mode:
Up, Down, Left, Right, X.
A menu should then appear allowing you to pick your preferred level.
